THE DETAILS. One pet is created with acrylic paint as a split portrait on two wood panels with a 7/8" profile. When your pet is extra long, tall or wide (think Dachshunds and Dobermans), why not spread that extra love into two panels? Stacked up-and-down or side-by-side, it's a win-win.
A layer of matte varnish is added to protect your art from dust and scratches while allowing for gentle cleaning (as needed). Your personal piece is discreetly initialed, our trademark is hidden on the back, and it comes ready to hang. Paintings are wrapped and sealed for transit to ensure safe delivery.
HOW WE WORK. After deciding on a size and completing your purchase, we'll be knocking on that inbox of yours in no time. (Within 24 business hours, actually.) We’ll email you with further instructions to keep you fully informed and get that proverbial ball rolling. Open communication is key, therefore, your input is invaluable.
We'll start by asking you for photos. Because we work directly from your photographs, the more you send us, the better. Natural light and clear, detailed images are ideal, and high resolution imagery is best. Photographing your pet on a hard surface (think: hardwood floors or concrete) is not only ideal, but it will allow us to see those paws, too!
Once we've agreed on a final layout, you'll receive your finished portrait within 7-9 weeks. (For multiple custom pieces or International orders, additional time may be needed.) From payment to mailbox, we want to work with you to create a piece that meets your vision!
